Colina Flora is a bed and breakfast tucked into the Sintra hills next to the Sintra Natural Park in Portugal. Colina Flora has a great, old stone country house feel to it, but each of the 5 rooms have been completely renovated with it’s own bath or shower, sitting area, and TV. The B&B also prides itself on being environmentally conscious with a chemical free pool, an organic garden, organic linens and safe cleaning products. Eventually solar panels will power all their electricity and hot water.
It’s only 40 minutes from the airport in Lisbon, and it’s mountainside perch allows for sweeping views of the ocean that is only a 5 minute drive down below.
Rates start around $95-$139 USD per night depending on the room and season and includes an organic breakfast and afternoon tea.
