El Cosmico is a small hotel located in the tiny, artistic desert town of Marfa, TX. At El Cosmico, you can live out your Americana dreams by staying in a collection of vintage airstream trailers from the 1950′s (under $150/night). Or you can really get in touch with your Wild West vibes and sleep under a big, starry Texas sky in one of their yurts or teepees (under $80/night).
Here’s what Tom from Javelin had to say about El Cosmico: “If you find yourself in Marfa there is no reason to stay anywhere else. The owners have bought and restored a dozen vintage trailers (wood interior and everything) which you can stay in for about $100 a night. The sky is huge and the romance is palpable. For way less money you can stay in a yurt or teepee with a nice futon in it which looked like fun, too.”
And don’t worry, you don’t have to totally rough it. There is a bath house, outdoor kitchen, hammock grove and WIFI on site!
