House Hunters International
House Hunters International on HGTV is one of our secret weapons. The show follows home buyers (usually expats) through their property searches around the world, excluding the US. The show gives a quick 30 minute tour through the basic principles of buying property overseas and more importantly, what you can get for your dollar! It also highlights emerging destinations, via a quick geography lesson, where property is still affordable. We’ve seen some lucky buyers snag some sweet beach front houses for less than 100K and turn them into our dream pads.
Recent episodes include Malta, Thailand, Bali, the Amalfi Coast, South of France, Cape Town, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Cabo, Nicaragua and loads more tropical destinations where we’d love to own a vacation home.
