Stretch Armstrong’s Pick: The Opposite House. Beijing, China
The Opposite House in Beijing was recommended to us by New York radio legend and DJ, Stretch Armstrong. The Opposite House is a super modern hotel located in the center of the city. It’s a tall, bright emerald glass building from the outside, and inside the rooms are sleek and minimal with clean lines, natural wood and glass furniture, crisp white linens and contemporary art. There is also a collection of restaurants and bars on site, and a pool and spa in the hotel. It looks a little over the top, but I think I could manage! Rates start around $350 per night.
Stretch Armstrong lives in New York City and keeps himself busy DJing all over the world, running a record label and being an all around nice guy. Keep up with him on his fan page at www.facebook.com/nystretch.
