The Fan Villa in Port Antonio, Jamaica
The Fan villa is a tranquil two story house tucked into the quiet hills above Port Antonio, Jamaica. It’s funky, circular design, mix of vintage furniture, green jungle scenery and views of the Caribbean Sea give the place a cool, tropical bohemian vibe. The house is two independent apartments, and the top floor is the “Master Suite” with a private patio and full wall of french doors that open to views of the sea and the storybook Trident Castle. Downstairs the “Junior Suite” is full of it’s own eclectic island artwork and has it’s own small patio for watching sunsets over the Blue Mountains. Both apartments come with a sweet housekeeper and cook, Andrea who will take good care of you; and the gardener, Dickey lives on site and tends to an organic garden towards the back of the property. When we were there in January, Dickey and the property manager, Nino had just added a private “jungle bar” area in the back too and invited some local friends over to play music and have dinner with us.
