Where to Eat and Drink in NYC During CMJ

CMJ, the music festival both loathed and loved by music fans and industry insiders, is happening in venues all over New York City this week. That means bands, brands, labels (and the occasional music fan) big and small will be swarming the city scouring for wristbands, backstage passes, free drinks and the coveted “I don’t have to wait in line” guest list spots. Fanfare and free drinks aside, everyone still needs to eat right?
That’s why this year, with the help of our friend Mandy Brooks, the Entertainment Sales Director of the music-friendly Tribeca and Soho Grand, hotels we put together a list of recommendations for wining and dining at some of Manhattan’s new(ish) restaurants.
The list skews a bit more towards the moderately upscale (but still casual) side, but think of it as a good guide to help you choose where to host that important business dinner, or where to impress that young band you are trying to sign. So grab your company credit card and get ready to flex that expense account!
