Cliktrips likes the beach, palm trees, mountain hikes, desertscapes, forest walks, the jungle, tropical islands, swimming pools, lake swims, rocky seaside cliffs, sunsets, soundbaths, hot tubs, the occasional cold plunge, bicycle rides, road trips, spritzes of all kinds, lots of snacks and the colors pink and green. Cliktrips also enjoys late night techno parties, balearic rooftop hangs, weird weekenders, tropical sounds, trippy disco, and dancing ‘til dawn.

A Guide to the Catskills in Sullivan County

Fashion designer Mandy Coon shares her favorite spots for food, cocktails, coffee, vintage home goods, hiking and weekend stays in Sullivan County in the Catskills.

The Heron is the best spot up here to eat, in Narrowsburg. It’s a farm to table restaurant perched right on the Delaware River and the food and cocktails are amazing. The chef worked with Marcus Samuelson before moving up here.

40 Main St, Narrowsburg, NY 12764 | 845-252-3333

Java Love has the best coffee! They do their own small batch roasting.

1577 State Rte 17B, White Lake, NY 12786 | 845-583-4082

Benji and Jakes has great brick oven pizza with fresh ingredients.

5 Horse Shoe Lake Rd, Kauneonga Lake, NY 12749 | 845-583-4031

Callicoon Farmer’s Market is wonderful, especially during late Spring through Fall, when it’s outdoors and has more vendors. The Aaron Burr cider is a must try!

Catskill Harvest is a great little organic and local grocery in Liberty, and their freshly made baguettes are delicious!

2758 NY-52, Liberty, NY 12754 | 845-292-3838

Nest is a lovely, amazingly curated store. Anna, the owner, was an art director at Vogue, and she travels a lot and stocks the store with amazing finds, like one of a kind rugs from Morocco or home goods from Brazil.

She’s also just opened the Nest Inn which looks amazing!

15 Main St, Narrowsburg, NY 12764 | 845-252-3424

Maison Bergogne is an incredible antiques garage and they have a wonderful eye and find really special pieces, including some amazing taxidermy!

226 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg, NY

The Arnold House is a lovely hotel and spa, located in Livingston Manor. The restaurant is great too!

839 Shandelee Rd, Livingston Manor, NY 12758 | 845-439-5070

The Outlier Inn is owned by two friends, Josh and Ambika and I highly recommend you stay there! Josh is a musician and has a recording studio on the property, and Ambika is a designer who has a fiber farm and she knits and crochets the most amazing things. They have several houses, cottages, etc. on the property (plus a huge geodesic dome!) and goats, sheep, chickens, ducks and angora bunnies….It really is magical. You can stay at two of the places on their property here  and here. And here is Josh’s recording studio (there are often amazing bands staying at the Outlier for months at a time), and Ambika’s amazing ethical angora line and crocheted bikinis here:

Tubing on the Delaware!

Neversink Unique Area is a lovely place to hike and has many different trails you can follow to the river, and to several waterfalls.

Sam’s Point is an amazing hike. On a clear day, the views are absolutely stunning. It has ice caves and waterfalls.
