Cliktrips likes the beach, palm trees, mountain hikes, desertscapes, forest walks, the jungle, tropical islands, swimming pools, lake swims, rocky seaside cliffs, sunsets, soundbaths, hot tubs, the occasional cold plunge, bicycle rides, road trips, spritzes of all kinds, lots of snacks and the colors pink and green. Cliktrips also enjoys late night techno parties, balearic rooftop hangs, weird weekenders, tropical sounds, trippy disco, and dancing ‘til dawn.

Casa Rincon in Mexico is the perfect combination of the two things we’re all about: travel and music. Located near a popular surf break called Punta Del Burro, Casa Rincon is an oceanfront villa compound and recording studio on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. It’s a big, beautiful collection of five buildings, a pool, recording studio, and lots of outdoor living space overlooking the ocean. The house is decorated with simple white walls and bright, traditional fabrics and wood and wicker furniture that practically scream “CHILL OUT!”

You can rent the whole or half compound including a housekeeper and cook. There is a total of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, so there’s more than enough space for you and your entourage to spread out, relax, argue over creative differences and record some tunes in this tropical paradise. Rates start at $450/night for the half compound and go up to $1000/night for the whole place depending on the season.

The recording studio is called Glass Cube and both Broken Social Scene and The Whitest Boy Alive have recorded here.
