We asked the well-traveled Sam to send us his favorite travel essentials and let us know what he can’t leave home without. Check out the Ghostly store for more must haves.
BRAUN ALARM CLOCK
This Braun alarm clock is a modern classic and is better than using your phone as a clock. Plus, it was in Blade Runner.
POSTALCO TRAVEL WALLET
I was lucky to receive this Postalco wallet as a gift, though I don’t know if I could afford it otherwise. It hasn’t left my bag since. Places to keep random paper, receipts, love letters, Dear John letters, and to-do lists.
I was inspired by the Julian Assange backpack movement of 2010, not his politics necessarily, just the backpack.
I never travel with big earphones, and I like to talk and drive rental cars, so these are the ones.
YVES BEHAR & JAWBONE JAMBOX
The Jambox is something that doesn’t seem essential but have turned a handful of people onto the product and they now don’t travel without one.
